Comprehensive Exams | With a comprehensive exam every six months, we can manage small dental problems before they grow into larger, more complicated issues. |
Preventative Dentistry | Regular brushing and flossing is the most important thing you can do to maintain a healthy smile. Beyond that, see us twice a year so we can stay on top of any potential problems you can’t see. Gum disease, cavities, and even oral cancer are easily prevented if symptoms are identified early on by a dentist. |
Cosmetic Dentistry | Cosmetic dentistry is playing a vital role in changing the lives of millions of people who are embarrassed by the appearance of their teeth. The imperfection may be stains that are unattractive or wide spaces between the teeth, causing gaps. Some of the teeth may be irregularly shaped or even missing. Regardless of the imperfection, there is a cosmetic dentistry treatment available that can improve your smile and/or mask flaws. |
Root Canal Treatment of Select Teeth | A tooth's pulp consists of soft tissue containing nerves, connective tissue and blood vessels. Within the tooth, the pulp extends from the crown to the tip of the root within the gum. An infected pulp will cause pain, and possible swelling. Without root canal treatment the tooth would eventually need to be removed. Root canal treatment involves removal of the infected pulp by our dentist or an endodontist, who specialises in root canal treatments, and then cleaning of the pulp chamber and root canal. The area is then sealed. It may take two to three visits to complete a root canal treatment. |
Paediatric Dentistry | Dental care for children is vitally important. The oral health techniques that are used throughout the life of an individual are taught during this important period of development. Children and teens need high quality dental care to facilitate the correct development of teeth and avoid costly dental treatments into adulthood. We also accept the Child Dental Benefit Scheme (Medicare) for eligible patients aged 2-17, which entitles the patient to dental treatment to the value of $1026 over a period of 2 years. At Dental On Victoria we provide bulk billing, with no out of pocket expenses. |
Crown, Bridge and Dental Implant Crowns | Dental crowns and/or bridges are used to cover and strengthen heavily filled, damaged or missing teeth whilst improving function and aesthetics. During the last 20 years, dental implants have become a desirable alternative to other methods of replacing missing teeth. Excellent success rates and a range of available options give dentists a variety of new ways to treat and replace lost teeth. |
Full and Partial Dentures | Full Dentures Full dentures are ones that comprise a full set of upper and lower teeth. Partial Dentures Partial dentures are dentures that replace only a limited number of teeth, and not an entire set. Partial dentures are a single piece fitting that is supported by the remaining teeth and gums. They are much more secure than standard full dentures, and are more comfortable. |
Bleaching | We are offering a Take Home Bleaching Kit. It is easy to use. Firstly we make custom trays to fit your teeth (you only do this once). Then you apply a small amount of whitening gel in the tray and you wear it for 30- 45 minutes/day. You just use the kit once a day for 7-14 days. You will see noticeable results after only a few days, and more marked results after one week or 10 days. This allows you to achieve a professional result at home. |
